A Generation in Need
Dear Vice President Gore,
I am a college student who is ready to stand up and take back my country. My generation has answered the call in the last year, whether it be for the fight against climate change or for the fight to keep our neighborhoods free of hate. I am proud to be an American, but as a member of the world community I am also equally as proud to be a part of my generation. We understand that we have been left a world that is less clean than the world our fathers were left. We also
understand that in a time of economic crisis we will have to work twice as hard to maintain the upward social movement of our parents. Vice President, I have worked volunteered on the Sen. Obama campaign and I have seen the bright young people who are determined to win the fight. We all fear that a tipping point is here and it is about time that we take control. Your endorsement would send yet another ring of trust to our parents and peers who have yet to realize that is a moment that we can not misuse. Sen. Obama is a good man, and he would make a great president. Please keep the optimism alive, and not let a generation of good people slip into the degradation of apathy.
