Mr. Gore,

I am writing you today with a plea that is echoed by many. As you yourself have articulated many times, this country is in dire need of change. The economy, the environment, foreign policy, education, health care - all of these issues will face our next President, and the decisions he or she makes will have serious implications not only for our own futures, but for coming generations. As a revered Democrat and highly respected figure, your endorsement would make a profound impact on the electorate.

I support Sen. Obama in this election because I think he is a force not only for change, but also for integrity, for foresight, and for progress. As these are values and goals that have guided your career over the years, your endorsement is as fitting as it would be influential. I have seen you speak a number of times, and had the honor to meet you and your lovely wife when you visited Shanghai, China in 2007, when I was all of 11 years old. Your courage, candor, and eloquence have always moved me. Please consider giving Sen. Obama your endorsement prior to Super Tuesday. This nation needs a true leader, and you are in a unique position to ensure we get one.
