Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I am writing to you in the hopes that you will endorse Senator Obama in the upcoming election. I believe that Obama represents what would be best for this country. I believe that his ideas are similar to your own on what is best for this country. He has many ideas to help the environment, a topic near and dear to yourself. I could go on and talk more about his positions and your own, but I am sure you are busy, so I will keep it short.

I write this to ask you to endorse Sen. Obama, for many reasons. One of my main ones is that I live in Texas. It seems that the race will have been decided by March 4th when our primary rolls around, and your endorsement of Obama will greatly help his chances of receiving the nomination for President of the United States, an event many of us in Austin, TX are looking forward to.
